There are several places where weapons of any kind are never allowed. These include schools, federal buildings, airplanes and trains. These restrictive facilities have long been considered weapon-free zones. Everyday carry is serious business, and it is your responsibility to know where you are going and what you are carrying.|Photo by ConcealedCarryLaw.net

A former Marine and CCW holder, Anthony Broyles, was daytripping with his two-year-old daughter at lovely Lake Cour d’Alene in Idaho when a man with a knife approached him, apparently intending to kidnap his daughter. “I turned around and there was a guy that was sneaking up on me…probably about 15 feet behind me, and he asked me if I had any money,” Broyles told KTVB News. Luckily, Broyles was carrying a concealed firearm. “I pushed my daughter back, pulled out my weapon, cocked it and aimed it at him,” Broyles said. The assailant fled. “It did 100 percent save my life,” said Broyles. “If I didn’t have my pistol today, I’m pretty sure I would have been dead.”
