TOPS Knives is back with the new CUMA Tak-Ri 3.5. This knife — an update to the Tak-Ri’s 1 and 2 — is designed by renowned martial arts expert SiJo Waysun “Johnny” Tsai. It boasts an overall length of 13.5 inches, as well as a seven-inch Coyote Tan blade with a thickness of 3/16 of an inch. Meanwhile, the Black Linen Micarta scales from previous models are swapped out for Green Canvas Micarta scales and are upgraded with TOPS’ Rocky Mountain Tread for a better purchase on the knife. The top edge — standard on prior Tak-Ri’s — will not come sharp on this version in order to make it compliant in areas where a double-edged knife is illegal. However, it can be sharpened upon request. Serrations have also been removed, but those can also be added upon request. MSRP is $240.00. See below for additional details.
