East Coast to West Coast, bed and breakfast to a small farm, such is the transition that Patty Bronstein made six years ago when she and her husband sold their Cape Cod B&B and moved to southern Oregon to start a small farm.
One goal was to be closer to their daughter Shaina, who was living in California. Patty also wanted a farm close to a vibrant community. “She likes small towns and being part of a farmers’ market,” Shaina explained.
Patty’s gardening skills were nurtured at the bed and breakfast that she operated for nine years. “I’ve always been a gardener and grew flowers and herbs for the bed and breakfast,” she explained.
