CompREST is a new alternative to camping sleeping bags or and air mattresses. The foam bed is designed for comfort and can be vacuum-sealed, making it easily portable. CompREST also features a vacuum pump that can charge your phone.

Sawyer Pahl described how his love for camping but hate for air mattresses led him to developing this camping bed on the CompREST Kickstarter campaign page. According to Pahl, the vacuum feature optimizes space by shrinking the bed down to 20 percent of its original size in about two to three minutes.

The CompREST bed cover is machine washable and made of Lyrca. It also has velcro to link multiple CompREST beds for a group to enjoy.

If your vacuum pump runs out of energy, it’s not a problem. You can use a vacuum cleaner in its place.
