It’s tornado season and America’s PrepareAthon! is back again with an effort to promote tornado awareness. This time the extremely useful tornado preparedness tips come in the form of a short animated video.

You probably already know the basics about what to do when a tornado comes to your city, but FEMA decided to produce a creative reminder for when the storm comes your way.

Tornadoes are one of the most dangerous natural disasters on earth. In the blink of an eye it can result in death, injury and cause major destruction on-site. So when the clouds start to turn gray, the wind picks up and the imminent events unfold, will you be ready?

Make sure you have a safe space or shelter to stay, gather all of your prepper products like food and water and keep them nearby in case of an emergency.

Learn more ways to think and act quickly to protect yourself, your family and your property from danger by watching the short video below.
