Make no mistake, there was a ton of survival gear at SHOT Show this year. From multi-tools and emergency food to flashlights, first-aid kits, carry packs, communications equipment and beyond, there was something for everybody. And we do mean everybody. Whether you’re an avid camper, hiker, hunter or a hardcore prepper, it’s hard not to get excited about all of the new products that are coming out in this space for 2017.

We checked in with some heavy hitters, including Gerber Gear with its new Center-Drive Multi-Tool and Leatherman with its Signal tool. Additionally, SOG Specialty Knives showed us its Sync I and Sync II multi-tools, and Midland walked us through its MicroMobile GMRS (General Mobile Radio Service) line. Last, but certainly not least, Dave Canterbury, the renowned survivalist and owner and instructor at The Pathfinder School, unveiled a bunch of new Mora knives, including the Morakniv Eldris.

Check out the video above to get a closer look at just some of the survival gear we saw at SHOT Show.
